Multiple Crews Battle Brush Fire

Multiple agencies are battling an 800-acre brush fire in the Pinenut Mountains southeast of Gardnerville, according to the Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center. The fire is near the Fish Springs and Pinenut Creek Road area. No structures are currently threatened and no roads are closed.

2nd half of historic home moved in Reno

The second half of a historic home near downtown Reno is moved to its new location on Plumas Street. The Krug House -formally known as the Mack House – dates back to 1910. It was one of several homes moved to make way for construction in UNR’s Gateway District.
