2 concerts at outdoor arena at Harveys canceled

The coronavirus cancellations keep coming. Two concerts planned at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys have been called off-they are performances by Bob Dylan and Kid Rock. A Phish concert meantime has been rescheduled for 2021.

Motorcycle Vs. Vehicle Crash

A motorcyclist is in the hospital following a crash on California Avenue. The Reno Police Department says the crash involved a vehicle and a motorcycle and are continuing to investigate. It happened near the intersection of California Avenue and Newlands Circle. No word yet on the severity of the motorcyclist’s injuries.

State Hires More Contact Tracers

As COVID-19 cases in Nevada rise, state health officials are ramping up efforts to prevent potential outbreaks. On Thursday the state’s COVID-19 response team announced 250 contact tracers have been hired and will start work Saturday to help trace those who have interacted with positive patients. The move will triple Nevada’s workforce of contact tracers.
