Union nurses at St. Mary’s protest for PPE, COVID-19 testing, hazard pay

Union nurses at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center are protesting. They say they need more protection from coronavirus. They say Prime Healthcare Services would be providing all workers with the appropriate personal protective gear and universal testing. They also want hazard pay and to be paid for lost hours while sick. St. Mary’s says it remains committed to protecting patients, providers, and the community and exceeds CDC recommendations.
