Report: Former leader of RSCVA had pattern of sexism, vulgar behavior

An independent investigation into the former head of the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority reveals a pattern of sexist behavior, inappropriate language, and racism on the part of Phil DeLone, according to The Reno Gazette-Journal. The report says DeLone hired based on appearances. He was also accused of calling Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve a vulgar word. DeLone resigned in February, citing health issues. DeLone did not return the paper’s request for comment.
