The Washoe County Health District reports the number of cases in the county is 1,295 and still 48 deaths. There are currently 558 active cases of coronavirus, and 689 cases of recovery.

Elective surgeries are resuming at Northern Nevada Medical Center. The hospital made the decision based on a sustained downward trend of COVID-19 cases. Those who come in for elective surgeries must be screened four days in advance, must wear masks, and they’ll be tested for COVID-19 at the curb before they’re allowed to enter.
