Joseph Cudia of Sacramento and Diego Coralles of South Lake Tahoe were arrested after a hiding out in a vacation rental without permission. Reno Police arrest a man in Midtown after they say he was trying to break into parked cars. Police were called to the 800 block of Holcomb Avenue, where they located the suspect, who tried to flee on foot. The man was handcuffed about a half-mile away on Caliente Avenue.

A magnitude-5.0 earthquake rattled Western Nevada this morning, just days after a 6.5 quake shook the same region near Mina and Tonopah. According to the United States Geological Society, the quake struck around 28 miles west-northwest of Tonopah at 5:36 a.m. Hundreds of aftershocks have been reported since the original quake struck.
