Washoe County health officials reported two deaths due to COVID-19, 17 new cases and eight recoveries on Sunday. The deaths were two women, one in her 40s and the other in her 70s, and both had underlying health conditions, according to officials. There are 52 COVID-19 related deaths in Washoe County. The county’s total number of positive cases is 1,378 along with 789 recoveries. Statewide, 7,770 positive cases and 394 deaths have been reported. There are 329 deaths reported in Clark County.
