Gov. Sisolak’s Reopening Plan

Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak said Tuesday that the state will begin Phase 2 of his “Roadmap to Recovery” reopening plan on Friday, allowing most businesses to reopen and paving the way for casinos and tourists to return on June 4. Places of worship will also be allowed to reopen for gatherings with a maximum of 50 people attending a service. Gov. Sisolak added that gaming businesses are still on track to open June 4. This incudes gyms, bars, massage services, movie theaters, swimming pools, museums and more. The governor said the Silver State saw a 31-day “consistent and sustainable” downward trend of both positive cases of COVID-19 and coronavirus-related hospitalizations.
