Starting this week, the Nevada Hospital Association is allowing Nevada hospitals to perform elective surgeries again. That covers surgeries that are planned ahead of time and not an emergency. At Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Reno, officials said they are starting with medically necessary elective surgeries.
