Dayton church sues Sisolak over worship restrictions

A Dayton church has sued Governor Steve Sisolak over his ban on in-person worship during the COVID-19 pandemic. Calvary Chapel Dayton Valley filed the suit Friday, claiming the ban violates their constitutional right to religious freedom. Churches in Nevada are allowed to hold outdoor, drive-up services. A California appeals court recently upheld that state’s ban on in-person religious services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
