More people are contracting COVID-19 in Washoe County, but more people are recovering from it as well. So far, 26 persons have recovered. At last check, the county had at least 184 cases. Two of those cases involve employees of the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office. One is a deputy who hasn’t been to work since March 11th. The other is a civilian employee who had been on vacation until March 18th, but returned to work for three days before they were sent home per gravel guidelines.
