Washoe County officials announced Monday that the Reno-Sparks Convention Center would soon be used as an alternative care site for coronavirus patients.
The 600,000 sqft space can be transitioned quickly and used for a variety of events, this is why Washoe County said it was an ideal location for a potentially coming COVID-19 surge.
