Governor Sisolak held two press conferences on Sunday outlining Nevada’s response to COVID-19. The governor announced that all Nevada public, private and charter schools will be closed until, at a minimum, April 6. He said that Nevada schools may not reopen until the State Chief Medical Officers evaluates the public health risk and determines when it is safe for each district to reopen. Meantime, several Hotels on the Las Vegas strip are going to close this week including all MGM properties.
