State of Emergency & Possible Ban on Mass Gatherings

Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak held a press conference in Las Vegas Thursday to announce he has declared a state of emergency in Nevada to deal with a potential COVID-19 outbreak. The Governor says the declaration gives the state more flexibility in preparing for and responding to any coronavirus outbreak. Sisolak said he is considering banning mass gatherings, as other states have done.
The state also set up a statewide hub to disseminate COVID-19 information at https://nvhealthresponse.nv.gov/
