One shot after fight in Reno

An early-morning shooting is under investigation in Reno. Police were called to the area near Little Waldorf Saloon at 1 a.m. They say a fight ended in gunfire with one person being shot. The victim was hospitalized; no one was arrested.

A man avoids jail time in a sports betting scheme. Prosecutors described Richard Fuentes Junior, as a problem gambler. Carson City deputies look for credit card thief

Carson City sheriff’s deputies need your help finding a suspect wanted for credit card fraud. Deputies say the man opened several credit cards and bought items in Reno and Carson City, using a Carson City resident’s bank account. He was caught on video opening a fraudulent credit card at Home Depot in Reno last year.

Washoe Co. looking for search, rescue volunteers
