Damonte Ranch HS to reinstall bathroom doors

Bathroom doors will be out back on the hinges at Damonte Ranch High School. Students came to school Wednesday to find the doors gone, but now the Washoe County School District has decided to reverse course. In a note to parents, obtained by The Reno Gazette-Journal, principal Darvel Bell says the decision was aimed at curbing vandalism and inappropriate behavior. He says he’s heard parents’ concerns about privacy and called it a “hasty decision” for which he apologized.
