RSCVA officially accept’s DeLone’s resignation, names interim replacements

The Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority is officially looking for a new CEO. Thursday they accepted Phil DeLone’s resignation. DeLone resigned abruptly citing a health issue though he’s also under investigation for allegations of misconduct. The board voted to give DeLone three months of medical leave and two months’ severance. Chairman Bob Lucey and vice-chair Ed Lawson will share the president’s responsibilities until a full-time replacement is named.
