Storey County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted murder that happened Sunday. At around Noon, deputies responded to a woman suffering from head injuries at her home in the Virginia City Highlands. A male suspect was located and turned himself in to deputies in Incline Village. He was detained by Washoe County Sheriff’s Office. The victim is in critical condition, and her identity is not being released at this time.
