Douglas County Walmart Gets the All-Clear

Around 1:30 Thursday afternoon, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office evacuated Walmart on Grant Avenue because of a bomb threat. Employees and customers waited outside the store, while the Tahoe Douglas Bomb Squad K-9 and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Detectives investigated the threat. They cleared the store, and nothing suspicious was located. About 3:45pm, employees were allowed back in, and the store is now open to the public.
