A new elementary school is coming to southeast Reno in an effort to solve overcrowding issues. The Washoe County School Board voted unanimously to approve the 86,000 sq. ft. campus to be built in the Rio Wrangler Parkway area. KOLO-TV reports the school would accommodate 700 students and would cost more than $40 million. The school will open in time for the 2023-24 school year.
