Douglas County may limit the number of vocational rents on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. A task force is seeking to limit the number of vacation rental permits to 725 properties. The county’s manager says he believes at least 100 residents are renting their homes without a permit. The possible regulation comes as the area sees an uptick in tourism due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
