Enjoy the outdoors, but watch out for rattlesnakes

A warning from the Nevada Department of Wildlife–if you plan on enjoying the outdoors this holiday weekend, lookout for rattlesnakes. They say they’re become more active in northern Nevada. They say the most common rattlesnake found in this area is the Great Basin-found at an elevation up to 9,000 ft. The snake has a thicker body and a triangular-shaped head.
