Truckee Meadows firefighters make quick work of a fire during a Red Flag warning Sunday. A fire was sparked in a garage on Slope Drive in Sun Valley. No one was hurt. That Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 11 p.m Monday night with hot temps and gusty winds. Shooting in the desert is strongly discouraged, and you’re also urged not to use power tools today.
