Nevada reported its first death from the new coronavirus Monday. Health officials in Las Vegas said the man who died was in his 60s, had underlayiing health conditions and had been hospitalized with COVID-19.

Washoe Co. has 9 confirmed cases of COVID-19

Washoe County has nine confirmed cases of COVID-19. It says local agencies – and not the C-D-C are now able to confirm test results. Some cases do not include travel outside of Washoe County. In each case, the patients are stable and isolation at home.

1 homeless after fire in west Reno

One person is homeless after a fire in west Reno. Reno firefighters were called to the 1300 block of Grand Summit Drive Saturday morning. They rescued a dog from a dog and confined damage to just one unit.
