A Washoe County School Board trustee is calling on the district for more transparency in a recent lawsuit. News 4 reports board trustee Jeff Church is suing the school district for access to applications for a volunteer committee that makes school safety recommendations. Church says earlier this year, he asked again to see all the candidates before voting on the one that was recommended, but the district refused.
