The City of Sparks and the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony have come to an agreement to advance the Truckee Meadows Public Lands Management Act (TMPLMA) also known as the Lands Bill. It would allow federal agencies like the BLM to sell parcels of federally owned land, with the overall goal being to protect outdoor spaces, increase the availability of affordable housing and allow more local infrastructure improvements.
