Reno Police have arrested Philip Cortez in connection with the August shooting of 25 year old Brian Loza-Munoz of Sparks. Cortez faces attempted murder, battery, robbery and weapons counts. Loza-Munoz was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Renown Regional Medical Center. His cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head. His death was ruled a homicide.
