Traner Middle School was briefly locked down on Thursday morning after authorities received reports of a weapon on campus. News 4 reports the school was put on a code red lockdown at about 8 a.m. on Sept. 21 and a thorough search revealed a toy gun in a student’s belongings, according to a message sent to families from the school’s principal.
