A man who allegedly barricaded himself into his Fernley home after shooting a firearm in the street multiple times has been taken into custody. The Sheriff’s office says it took about five hours to take the man into custody. Authorities say a preliminary investigation shows the man was experiencing mental health issues. A shelter-in-place had been ordered for an area south of Fernley High School.
