The Bureau of Land Management is planning a public meeting in Reno soon, to solicit feedback on updates to its solar energy program. The Reno meeting is set for January 19th from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. The BLM is considering updates to its 2012 Western Solar Plan, and is looking for feedback about expanding its solar planning to include five additional states. The plan already includes Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, California, and Colorado.
