The head of Nevada’s higher education system will step down. Melody Rose’s resignation, if it’s approved by University Regents, will take place Friday. Rose lodged a hostile workplace complaint against two members of the Board of Regents last fall. Under the terms of the separation agreement, Rose’s employment would end Friday, with a payout of $610,000.
