Penalties for workplace safety violations have increased, effective Friday, January 15th. Senate Bill 40, passed by the 2019 state legislature, led Nevada’s Division of Industrial Relations to aligned penalties with U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety amd Health Administration guidelines.
