Plans for a managed homeless camp in El Dorado County have been put on-hold. The Tahoe Daily Tribune reports the Board of Supervisors is still looking for funding to create the HOSTESS program, which would be a homeless encampment on a lot just west of the El Dorado County Jail in Placerville. They hope to have it set up next June, in time for peak fire season.
