By donating a turkey you can help local families have a Thanksgiving meal. The annual High Five Turkey Drive, hosted by Friends in Service Helping, is happening all day today until 7 p.m. at Nissan Carson City. Organizers say they are especially in great need of turkeys this year for the annual holiday food drive. Community members are encouraged to donate a frozen turkey, plus any canned goods and dry sides such as stuffing or potatoes or they can donate $10 .
