A fugitive wanted by U.S. Marshals is arrested in Sun Valley following a standoff that led to some localized evacuations. Sidrick Romero was wanted for violating his parole on a charge of battery with a deadly weapon. Washoe County deputies say Romero barricaded himself inside a home the 5200 block of Slope Drive Sunday afternoon before he ultimately surrendered. He now faces additional charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, home invasion, child endangerment, and obstruction.
