Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve says she has tested positive for COVID-19. In a tweet published on Thursday, she says she started not feeling well on Wednesday and got a test just to be safe. She received word she tested positive the next day.
She said she was vaccinated in the tweet and says her symptoms have been mild. Schieve says she will be quarantining and working remotely for the next ten days. She also urged other Nevadans to get vaccinated to protect the immunocompromised and others who are at high risk for COVID-19.
