The Washoe County Health District has issued the first-ever Stage 3 Emergency Episode due to smoke from nearby wildfires. Air quality is expected to hit hazardous levels in the Reno-Sparks area through Wednesday. All residents are urged to stay inside and avoid outdoor activity, make sure all windows and doors are closed, consult your doctor for health questions especially if you have heart and lung issues.
