Chipmunks test positive for plague on the south shores of Lake Tahoe. The Tahoe-Daily Tribune reports the discovery has closed the Taylor Creek Visitor Center, Kiva Beach, and its parking areas through Friday. El Dorado County assures the public that the chipmunks tested had no contact with humans.
