A woman is recovering after a bear attacked her at a Lake Tahoe campsite over the weekend. The 25-year-old woman was camping on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe when a bear hit her leg. The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) says authorities are still working to capture the bear after the say the woman accidentally surprised the bear at her campsite. She says she was standing at the picnic table unaware the bear was 15 feet away. The bear apparently broke into the camping group’s cooler.
