Traffic is flowing again on U.S. 395 again as firefighters continue to take on the Tamarack Fire. The fire is 27 percent contained; it spans 66,000 acres. Evacuation orders have been lifted for Topaz Ranch Estates and the Topaz Lake areas of Douglas County or Smith Valley in Lyon County. Those living in the Holbrook Junction or Spring Valley remain under evacuation orders.
