The flag that flew on the U.S.S. Reno in World War two is now back where it belongs. Monday the City of Reno held a formal ceremony on Flag Day to put it back on display to be honored. It was stolen during the riots in Reno on May 30, 2020. Looters smashed the windows at Reno City Hall, set fires and destroyed property. Someone also smashed a display case and stole the historic flag.
