A man who shot a Nevada Department of Transportation employee and was ultimately killed in a shootout with police near the Elko/Eureka county line last week has been identified. He is 34-year-old Zachary Minissale. Police say he may be linked to a murder investigation in Nevada City, California. The N-DOT worker who was shot survived and has been released from the hospital.
