The Truckee Meadows Water Authority is asking for water conservation. With snowpack at just 68% of normal after the second dry year in a row, they’ve implemented Level 2 drought water conservation measures. That means an odd-even address watering schedule remains in effect. People are also asked not to water their lawns between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. The authority says it’s also hired more “water watchers” to enforce restrictions.
