For the first time ever, Mackay Stadium will play host to the University of Nevada Reno’s commencement ceremonies. They say the open space it provides is needing to allow for social distancing. The 3,000 graduates will be divided among eight ceremonies that will all be livestreamed. Graduates also received a limited amount of tickets. Masks are required. Graduates from the Class of 2020 are also being invited back to walk since they didn’t get an in-person graduation last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
