Snow in April isn’t unheard of it, but it’s rare. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for the Tahoe area at 3 a.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday. Up to 4 inches of snow is possible at lake level, while up to 10 inches could fall in areas of higher elevation. Gusty winds are also expected with this storm.
