Washoe County has 8,000 COVID-19 vaccination appointments available; they’ve got new scheduling software to make it easier to schedule your vaccination. The Washoe County Health District says it’s concerned though that 2,000 people who got their first shot have not yet returned for their second shot of either Moderna or Pfizer. Experts say it’s really important you complete the two-dose series. Renown says it’s also seeing an increase in no-shows for appointments.
