Reno resident Michael Thomas Woods was arrested for open murder Friday after spending months at the Washoe County Detention jail for allegedly beating a man who later died. Just before 5 p.m. on Nov. 7, the Reno Police Department responded to an incident in the 600 block of Kuenzli Street, where the victim was found battered inside his home and ultimately died from his injuries.
