Lyon Co. Fire gets 2 new engines

The Lyon County Fire Protection District unveiled its new fire engines last night. The new engine was physically pushed and pulled into the station on East Main Street as part of a special ceremony. They were paid for using donations, tax revenue, and loans and will be parked at Fire Stations 61 and 62. Firefighters say the two engines are greatly needed. KOLO-TV reports the last time they got a new engine was in 1988, and it was used.
