Washoe County’s positivity rate declines

Washoe County adds three new COVID-19 deaths for a total of 607. The latest deaths involve men in their 90s, 80s, and 50s. The county added 95 cases and 474 recoveries Wednesday. The health district says the test positivity rate and number of new cases per day are declining. The positivity rate now stands at 11.6 percent down from a high of 21.2 percent.

Meantime, in the Quad-County region adds a single COVID-19 death for a total of 1931. The latest death involved a man from Carson City in his70s. The region added a dozen new cases and 93 recoveries.
