Washoe County sees no new deaths in the fight against COVID-19. The death toll stands at 559. But the state set a new record with 62 deaths Thursday. Washoe County added 211 cases and 65 recoveries. 177 persons are hospitalized with the virus.
Meantime, long lines were reported yesterday at Renown and St. Mary’s as workers administer COVID-19 vaccines to residents 70 and older. Spots filled up within a matter of hours at both locations.
